Enhance your browser with one-click searching

With AltaVista QuickSearch you can search for Web Pages, Images, Videos or News by simply highlighting text and clicking a link in your browser's Links bar.
You can use AltaVista QuickSearch on any Web page -- just select the text and click the QuickSearch link.

To use Search Bookmarks, you must be able to drag links to a toolbar in your browser. Some browsers do not display a "links" bar by default. This functionality must be available and turned on in the browser you use.

Search Bookmarks works well with:

Internet Explorer v.5.0 and above (Windows, Mac) ; Netscape Navigator v.4.7 and above (Windows, Mac)

We are currently testing 'AV Quick Search' with Netscape v.7.0 (Windows).
